The Mind of Men is a team effort.  While Jim and Mike may give the impression that they know a lot, this is because they have real experts to call upon in various areas to help them out from time to time.  In addition to helping the Men out in the background, some of these folks have agreed to periodically contributed short format segments to the show.   Mike and Jim really appreciate all of the hard work these guys put in.

Greg Rempe

Greg Rempe is owner/creator of the BBQ Central Website and host of the weekly BBQ Central Show on LA Talk Radio

Greg got his start several years ago when he picked up his first Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker, discovered the Virtual Bullet Web Site, and basically went nuts posting.  His enthusiasm was so high that eventually the forum administrator asked if he could reduce the number of posts he was making each day.  Greg took this as a sign that it was time to set up his own forum and the BBQ Central Website was born.

A year or so later, Greg decided to launch a monthly podcast in which he would interview luminaries from the world of BBQ to get tips, tricks, and other great information about both competition cooking and backyard BBQ.  This grew into his now highly successful weekly radio show which follows a similar format.

Greg owns more grills than Jim (and that’s saying something) and is always cooking up something on one or the other.  He is a fountain of BBQ knowledge and knows just about everyone who’s anyone in the BBQ world.  if he doesn’t know the answer to a question, chances are, he knows someone who does.
