This week, Best Buy is running a pretty good deal on the Harmony One Universal Remote Control. This is one of those remotes that you program using a USB connection on your PC or Mac. You tell it what components you have and it goes up to Logitech’s Harmony database, pulls down the commands and drops them on the remote.
The only real negative is that the remote is IR only, so if you want to use RF, you need to purchase a $70 optional component. Alternatively, you could get Logitech’s more advanced Harmony 900 which includes RF, but that one will set you back nearly $400.
Best Buy’s $180 price beats even Amazon’s price by$57 making it a very good deal this week. The Price is good through Saturday, September 5 and is available online or in stores
